Embracing the beauty of winter

Living in New England, I often hear people say, "Oh I hate winter! I can't wait for it to be spring!" with such anger and contempt. I suppose I've been guilty of it in the past...especially when there's snow storm after snow storm. But as I've gotten older, I've learned to appreciate all the seasons. Winter lasts a little too long, but after a large snowfall....the views of the snow on the trees are absolutely breathtaking. This is what inspired me to create this art piece with Dyson (our dog), embracing the beauty and stillness of winter.
