Painting Class Visits

Convalescent homes: Katie is seeking more work in convalescent/retirement homes anywhere in the Hartford/New Haven area. She will present her artwork on the first day, and continue to do creative, intuitive projects with the residents. The projects may include: oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor, crafts and more. Katie is flexible on a weekly or monthly basis and provides materials. Please inquire about her fees by contacting her via phone or email.

Katie works with various populations including patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. She will be attending school part-time in the fall for Art Therapy to expand on her interest in the area. Katie loves to work with the elderly population.

"Many of the places I go to ask for watercolor and acrylic painting classes. They seem to love it because it takes an hour or two out of their day to be creative. It also lets them use their motor skills and memories, no matter what disability they have. It brings sunshine to their day as well as mine, so it works out great!"
