Class Descriptions
Little One's Art
Ages 3.5-5
Art for the little ones is all about experimenting and learning. The creativity and discovery process is a valuable learning process. We will focus on different themes and explore our way through new art materials and color mixing!
Beginners
Ages 5-7
This is a great art class for beginners to explore their way through art and creativity. We will experiment with all types of materials and learn basic painting/drawing skills. Imagination will be used quite a bit in this class!
Creative Art
Ages 7.5-11
Does your child enjoy art at school but wishes for more time to paint and be creative? This weekly class is designed for students who want that extra time and show a great interest in art. Painting, sculpting, and experimenting with different materials will be explored through fun projects. I recommend 7 year olds who are more experienced with art take this class. 15 extra minutes of class time has been added on this year!
Beginners Advanced**
Ages 6-9
This class is a combination of Beginners and Creative Art. Exploration of materials will continue as students enhance their drawing skills. **This is a new class that offers a wider age range to participate.
Intermediate Art
Ages 11-14
This art class will explore many different mediums and learn about line, shape, color, space, value and form. Charcoal, painting, pastels, sculpting and more will be used throughout these classes through creative projects.
Art for Teens & Adults
Ages 15+
This class is for students who need extra time and attention for portfolio prep; or for those who simply want more time to learn about art and create it. We will explore many different mediums and learn about important elements such as line, shape, color, space, value and form.
